Your New Samsung Galaxy S10 Needs a Case

Naturally, you'd want to protect an investment in the hundreds or thousands of dollars, but not everyone is keen on wrapping a case around their phone.

Thus, while reading a CNET review of the Samsung Galaxy S10 (in this case Plus), we came across something that caught our eye.

This little snippet below within the article from CNET's Jessica Dolcourt calls attention to just how slippery the phone is.

Lovely to look at, but a slippery devil

Samsung is partial to glossy finishes that reflect light in unusual ways. My review unit is the 128GB version in Prism White, and it definitely reflects iridescent shades of pale blue and pink in the light. This color is nice and subtle, unlike the bolder Flamingo Pink, Canary Yellow and Prism Blue.

Right away I noticed that the phone is rather slippery. It's shot out from between my fingers several times, usually landing on my purse, a table or my lap. I like to review phones the way they emerge from the box, but I'm going to want a case for this one.

It seems like with the different materials being used to produce newer phones, the more slippery they have become.

Make sure your device, especially your new Samsung S10, doesn't slip away and find a crack.
