The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is almost here!

The first feature Samsung is really touting here is the size of the battery.  Many consumers know and understand battery woes and here Samsung is attempting to tap into that frustration.

With the size of the battery at 4,000 mAh, it should last much longer than most phones on the market today, but will also require a more robust charging solution at the same time.

Given the upgrade with the battery, it then shouldn't come as a surprise that the Note 9 will start at $999 here in the US.

The finger reader is again on the back of the phone, added bluetooth connectivity should improve performance, improved camera specs should lead to better photos, the USB-C port remains the same, in addition to the headphone jack and S pen slot.

Added bonus for the gamers out there: the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have a 30-day exclusive for the Android version of Fortnite.

Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9th in Brooklyn, New York at 11am EST.
