A test group wore headsets and a control group did not. After wearing the headsets for 90 days, the test group increased the number of loans it closed by an average of 23.5 percent compared to the control group. The study also demonstrated that headsets significantly contribute to a decline in back, neck and shoulder discomfort, which can translate into a reduction in sick days. On average, the test group reported a 25 percent decrease in discomfort while wearing a headset compared to the control group.
