  • Connects your phone to a computer so you can sync contacts/calendar/etc. via the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Software that comes with your phone.  Depending on your phone model and service provider, it may also allow you to transfer media files (pictures, music, etc.) and use your phone as a wireless Internet connection for your computer.
  • This cable also charges your BlackBerry through the USB port on your computer.  This is a great solution for business travelers  - if you're running low on power, you can charge from your laptop's battery instead of a wall outlet.

You can use the adapters below to convert this cable into a travel charger or car charger, giving you optional charging methods with one unit.  The dual adapters allow you to charge multiple devices simultaneously such as your phone and Bluetooth headset (if a USB charging cable is available).
