Wilson Desktop Wireless Amplifier Kit

Wilson's Desktop Amplifier Kit is a simple, easy-to-install solution that improves the cellular reception inside your home.  It boosts the signal for voice calls on all North American cellular networks including the 824-894 MHz and 1850-1990 MHz frequency bands.  It also boosts the signal for 2G and 3G data communication.

What Gets Boosted / Amplified?

  • Voice Calls = Yes
  • 2G / 3G Data = Yes
  • 4G Data = No.  If 4G data amplification is desired, pleae use model 813426.

How The Kit Works

The Amplifier receives the signal coming from the cell tower, amplifies it, and then wirelessly transmits the more powerful signal to your cellular device.  It also receives the signal coming from your device, amplifies it, and transmits it back to the cell tower.  It essentially acts as a 2-way hearing aid when the cellular tower and wireless device are unable to communicate effectively.

Coverage Area

  • Designed for signal amplification of a small work space
  • Typical Coverage Range: 10 feet radius from the indoor antenna depending on initial signal strength and other factors
  • Expandability: Not Expandable
  • Due to the many variables involved in determining coverage area such as signal strength, obstructions, composition of walls, placement of equipment, etc., the proposed coverage of any amplifier kit is an estimate at best.

Features and Benefits

  • FCC certified to 2014 technical specs
  • Wilson Wireless Amplifier kits can significantly reduce dropped calls, improve voice quality, extend service range, and increase data rates
  • Effective in amplifying the signal for multiple cell phones and data cards simultaneously
  • There is no physical connection to the phone or data card, so you can move freely during a call or web surfing session
  • Extends the life of your cell phone battery - phones vary their power output based on the strength of the signal (the greater the signal, the less power it uses) so a phone being used with an Amplifier will consume less power
