Charge and Secure Your Tablet Fleet Effortlessly

Posted on Jul 1st 2014

Managing an army of tablets for your organization is no small feat. Many companies who utilize tablets in day-to-day operations need to keep them charged and locked up when not in use. But charging and securely storing multiple devices can turn into a disorganized mess of tangled cords without the right equipment. Whether you just need to charge a few devices throughout the day or manage a fleet of 40 tablets, you can find the right device at CAFL.

Up to 40 Tablets: Anthro Charging Carts

Anthro manufactures lockable mobile carts with small footprints specifically for use with tablets. Each tablet has its own numbered bay with a convenient clip for the charging cable to keep everything neat and organized. The charging cables are threaded through a panel in the back to a separate, lockable IT area, where power cords can be managed. Each cart holds from 30 to 40 tablets (depending on your device and storage needs) but takes up only 2 square feet of space. Vertically, the cart reaches about 4 feet, the perfect height to be used as a stand for AV presentation equipment. Variations include:

Ten or Fewer Devices: Griffin MultiDock Locking Cabinet

With a footprint only slightly larger than that of a laptop, the Griffin MultiDock 10-Unit Cabinet allows you to rapidly charge up to 10 devices and protect them from theft with a key-lock mechanism. The MultiDock will work with nearly all tablets and smartphones and you won't have to remove devices from their cases - saving you time and energy. You can also stack three MulitDock cabinets together to charge up to 30 devices at once.

Five or Fewer Devices: Griffin PowerDock 5 Charge Cradle

If you have only a few devices in your office or home and security isn't a concern, the Griffin PowerDock 5 is an excellent desktop charging and cord management solution that will keep your devices charged and organized and your desk free of wires. The PowerDock 5 will accomodate phones and tablets in their cases.
